Nursery children at Notre Dame First School enjoyed a Pirate Day this week. For the past four weeks the pirate theme has been used as an educational tool through which the children learned story-telling, craft making and conducted a series of floating and sinking experiments. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and used their crafts such as telescopes and Jolly Roger flags to enhance their pirate experience.
