Magazine: The Gibraltar Magazine boasts a spirited history dating back 20 years, when it was first called ‘Discover Gibraltar’. Founders Andrea Morton and Howard Fuller established the publication in 1995, with the aim of ‘promoting Gibraltar and its people’ and ensuring the content is interesting and relevant both to locals and tourists. Our mantra remains the same to this day, even though a new team has driven the magazine since 2015, keeping it current and leading locally in content and layout.
Each month we pack our 100 pages with gripping features, taking readers behind the scenes of upcoming happenings on the Rock, reviewing recently passed events and picking the brains of Gibraltar’s most treasured and fascinating characters. We decipher trends, retell bold travel tales, offer up scrumptious seasonal recipes, educate on wine and fashion and business, and make economical predictions and financial analyses. We keep up to date with social media, featuring articles and offering interactive insights daily, to our following of over 2,600 on Facebook and 3,200 on Twitter.
The Gibraltar Magazine distributes 6,000 copies monthly, and even more throughout the summer. We have our own branded stands dotted around the Rock in prime locations, from the frontier and airport, throughout Main Street, at all the major supermarkets and in all the necessary waiting rooms you often find yourself sat in.
